Shivarajkumar likely to join Vijay's 'Thalapathy 69'
Actor Vijay's next film tentatively known as 'Thalapathy 69' directed by H Vinoth began earlier in October and has been progressing slowly. While actress Pooja Hegde is playing the female lead in the film, the latest buzz is that Kannada star Shivarajkumar is mostly likely to be a part of the film.
The star actor has earlier acted in Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' and Dhanush-starrer 'Captain Miller' in Tamil. Now, Shivarajkumar has himself revealed in an interview that he had been offered a remarkable role in 'Thalapathy 69', which he would ideally take up if he could manage his dates.
In a recent interview to Radio Mirchi, Shivarajkumar said, "They have approached me for a beautiful character in Vijay's film. It sounds interesting, but I don't know how it will shape up because of my dates. They are saying it's Vijay's last film, but I personally feel it should not be so. As a friend and well wisher I think Vijay is a fantastic actor and a good human being. The ambition that he has got is fantastic. I respect him for that. So I hope I freeze the project."
The film also has Bobby Deol, Prakash Raj, Narain, Gautham Menon, Priyamani and Mamitha Baiju in supporting roles. While Anirudh composing music for the film, the technical team includes Sathyan Sooryan cranking the camera and Pradeep E Ragav handling the editing with Anlarasu taking care of the stunts.
The film is being planned to hit the screens in October, 2025.
