Kuro Games is pulling all stops for Wuthering Waves' first anniversary, and a lovely tribute comes by way of the new web event: Echoes of Reciprocal Tides. Taking place from May 14 May 21, 2025, the interactive event serves as a celebration of how far the game has come and as a spotlight toward the happening relationship between the developers and the thriving WuWa community.Unlike in-game events that require logins or certain progress, the whole setup of Echoes of Reciprocal Tides is refreshingly inclusive. Players are required to go to the webpage, and no login is necessary; tap the button that reads: "Tap to Illuminate." Each tap releases a section of an ornate digital scroll that, as a whole, illuminates the banner representing the community's shared journey through Wuthering Waves.The scroll acts as an analog for this journey from then till now, and each participant lights up a tiny part of that memory; from then, they unleash themselves in a wave of positivity. Upon illumination of a portion, players will be invited, but are not restricted, to leave a message for the community, thus providing Rovers with an opportunity to convey their sincerest appreciation, share memories, or simply go out loud about their love for the game. Some messages might even be used in upcoming events, making the occasion even more meaningful.As the devotees reach milestone percentages, a scroll opens rewards for all endeavoring participants. Hence, the reward scheme explicitly promotes the collective effort with increasing humiliation punishments at each level:These prizes arrive through in-game mail, but of course, accounts must have mail unlocked to claim them. The community, indeed, has achieved 100% completion as of now, a testament to the dedicated player base.
